Workshop 6
Wednesday October 7: Brushstrokes of Happiness
Science has uncovered that we all have a happiness set point influenced by many factors. What really makes you happy? Studies show it isn’t money. Well discussed research has shown that lottery winners get a jolt of positive emotions but will eventually go back to their set point. In other words, the novelty wears off. How can you build sustainable happiness in your life and raise your happiness set point? This workshop will provide strategies.
Art project will center around a happiness habits wheel using meditative drawing techniques that release stress and bring overall calm to the nervous system. Participants will uncover small habits that they will practice in everyday life to bring about daily happiness.
